Help me choose a rifle!

Hey im buying a rifle from my local gun shop.

http://www.duncansgunmakers.co.uk/Index1.htm if you go there and click air rifles you can see what they sell.

Im new to all this so don't really know what to buy.

Can some one look on there and reccomend any thing to me?

Must cost no more then £300 and be a sping rifle, preferabley a 2.2

weirauch hw57 underlever around 220to250 nice scope and bag weirauch are some of the best springers out there apart from airarms there are a few second hand air arms tx200 in the for sale section i would go for one of them if you dont mind buying second hand

Best thing is to get yourself down your local gunshop, try a few, see what seems to feel right then come back and ask what people think!

 

But what ever suits somebody, somebody else will hate!

Hi Jonesy.

 

How old are you, and what sort of build, would you consider yourself a fairly strong person, or not?

 

Just knowing that little bit of info would give the guys a better idea of reccomendations.

 

You could then make a list of the suggestions, go to your local RFD and shoulder the rifles, see what fits, and feels nice to you.

 

If you are a mature guy and reasonably built, that TX200 of Kriss Ks is definatly worth a lokk at

You carnt go wrong with the TX Chris is selling.....well made and as deadly as any other rifle...but if you have arms like pipe cleaners then i would give it a miss

Jonezy I went to duncans yesterday haha. They've moved from town center so I went to cinema instead. I always found them to be real good in the past when I was looking at the pistols and so on for targets but now I have a farm I need a Hunter for rats and pesky wabbits. SO I'm on the same track as you trying to find something good.
