Abel Magwitch. 13
Abel I agree with your sentiment but its rather obvious that you have an ulterior motive insomuch as you wish to berate show bird keepers/breeders. With your literary and grammatical excellence you should write a book ! Hello 'Tuzo' from County Durham, last month, I visited Thailand. I saw 8 lots of gamefowl in different areas. I even talked to Thai cockers. You can ask me any question about the Thai gamecocks. As you can guess, I am joking. I know only a few words in Thai language and the level of English there is still poorer than mine with my rustic tongue. About the weights, or any number, I am yet sure to understand well as they also use the arabic numerals. So I am not ready to write any book about gamefowl in Thailand, neither in Brazil, nor in Japan. So my litrature ambitions are firmly stuck with sending post cards. The European show breeders were not able to preserve their own game breeds. If you do not agree, tell me which game breed was 'preserved' by show breeders. And now they want to 'preserve' the foreign asian game breeds? I have an opinion as you do, and I respect that. What I don't respect is the personal nature of your replies without a true picture of someones preferences, experiences or motives. I know that you are successfull in poultry shows with your Ko-shamos. It is not a shame to be a show breeder. But it is a shame to be a bullshitter. As I stated previously you should not assume you know me or anything about me. Admittedly I keep ko shamo, a breed specifically bred for the show pen. I am not a member of the PCGB. If I make a comment on something its based on what I like or don't like. Well there you go, you are indeed a noted showman from County Durham with your Ko- Shamos and I heard you had a dabble with some exhibition shamos, but did'nt get on that well with them. Thing is when you comment on a subject it at times goes like this - the more you talk often it shows how little an Individual knows and you of all people shouldn't be telling lads on here how gamefowl should look etctera. As far as pit bulls and Am Staffs go I couldn't answer that as I've never seen one as they are illegal in this country. Well it is funny you say this, as I was once told that you kept Bull breeds and liked to use a treadmill to make them look in condition. And that you are a highly regarded bookworm expert on them. Tuzo 251
County Durham ? Someone is giving you duff info. I have only ever lived in one place and it certainly isn't County Durham. I wonder how much more of your info is wrong ? Obviously your informant knows me very well ! Funny you mention bullshitters.
Tuzo 251
As you say Abel the more an individual says the more apparent it becomes how little they know.

Yes silly me, my geography isn't that good with the north east of England you must forgive me - how about Cleveland almost into N.Yorkshire region. Funnily you know the rest I mention is correct.
Tuzo 251
Yes I do forgive you Abel, although I thought you would have checked my posts first....it was no secret what county I was from. It was a in a recent advert I'm sure. And no, the rest of what you say isn't correct. If I were you I would stick to 'hawking your birds on the internet' rather than worrying about where I'm from or what I keep. Now this is a genuine question, honestly.........Why are your birds not sold to like minded folk that you know ? I constantly read on here from gamefowl enthusiasts that good gamefowl men don't and shouldn't need to 'hawk' their birds ? Apparently its not the done thing. I could have sworn I read somewhere that you have exhibited birds Abel, around 15 years ago ?

Bud, Yes I said indeed 'hawking my birds on the internet', thing is when you breed over 230 birds I sell a good few by word of mouth even to Ireland, Malta and Belgium - And as a gesture I am willing to let 3 pairs of 11 week old taiwans go for luck money if a young lad wants to start up as I no longer keep taiwans with my birds now in Ireland and I asure you they aren't on any 'adverts' for sale - . I've not passed the terrier and fowl and feather sections on here yet so haven't seen an advert youv'e done. Please enlighten me on showing .Most of my birds are very good looking too,in fact too good looking for the show pens. Judges know very little about oriental gamefowl so to put my birds in front of them to 'judge' would be an ultimate insult to my birds! I have never put birds in a show pen and never will. They are too good and valuable to be put in front of prying eyes. You are obviously very naive and have little insight.I went to the first organised AGS many years ago in a place in Lincolnshire and I had no further inclination to attend anymore. Each to their own but the type of company at shows are not for me.I would be wasting my valuable time.
Tuzo 251
I was under the impression this was you on another forum.............please correct me if I am wrong and shall apologise. If it isn't you then Dick Dastardly, Wannabe Rookie, Dastardly etc write very similarly to you. http://www.ultimatefowl.com/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=8495&p=80326#p80326 I've gone to the first post as I've been 'busy' with my fowl in France and seen this. I'm glad I'm on your mind Mr Harris, no need to hit capslock though buddy as my eyesight is just fine and I don't see through tinted Micky Mouse glasses. Nobody in person can accuse me of 'delusions of grandeur' or any insults of a similar nature. (I was hoping, you would stop the insult digs, as your still pissed with me from Naked heels site regarding the line breeding threads - you went off in a cyber huff Tantram and deleted your posts when proved wrong again), or whatever, whatever........ I never exhibit my stuff, except I had a dabble over 15 years ago and was more of a social thing with the chicken lads and had very good results but purely a few hours out, and anyway I have no space for rosettes and prize cards to be honest and I'm too busy at weekends mostly. I keep them because Shamo and gamefowl are part of my heritage and I like them and their form follows their function.... I would'nt expect specialist judges all the time if I was seriously into exhibitions and agree with what doc wrote. Of course some general shows are big enough to warrent specialist judges like they do at Oxford and the Asian Hardfeather Club UK but it isn't going to happen at all round general shows is it. Abel Magwitch. 13
Bud, never been on the above forum and only been either this user name as on ganoi, OTG, PG or simply XXX on two gamefowl forums, funnily I've had two others thinking I'm either Shamo Joe/Monopoly Man/Mr Chu/Ben Dreyfuss from Ganoi or who ever he calls himself from Dartford in Kent these days. I am a professional guy and keep a few chcikens soley as a hobby, I am very discreet and don't associate myself with many people for obvious reasons. Maybe I'm confused with a multiple personality as I can write in plain english. . Edited August 6, 2012 by Abel Magwitch.
