lurcherchris 5
Hi all its time for me to get a new pair of boots for the coming season. i've had a pair of irish setters for about 4 or 5 years they were great they probably would of lasted longer had i looked after them more. anyway i keep hearing about alt bergs i'm looking at the country veldt hog shooting boot or the gk high moor boot. has anyone had any experience to compare the setters with the alt bergs Quote Link to post

nobjerk 161
had the is elk trackers for the last 8 years (2 pairs) , found them comfortable and waterproof from day one . but they did need looking after and im not a regular oiler and polisher , and the inevitable happens to the leather . ive gone over to black islander diottos with the protective outer coating , hopefully they will do better in the brambles . but the elk trackers are by far the more comfortable and i still go back to the old pair when idont need the toughness .
