paulk73 151
Hi guys. The little tiny o ring on my hw 100 filling adapter has split. The local gun shops don't stock them, and I'm wondering if anybody knows where I could get hold of some? Or if anybody has any spare that I could buy from them. It's the early model with the screw off cylinder. Thanks in advance people. Quote Link to post

paulk73 151
Cheers guys. Just been to b&q with the mrs to get some moss killer for the lawn( it's more moss than lawn, so I can see this turnin into a turfing job once all the moss dies lol) and I took the o ring with me just to see if they had any. I managed to find a pack of small o rings in the plumbing section. 8 o rings £1.29.. And 2 of them are the correct size. Happy days. Am thinking about converting to the quick fill adapter. Anyone used the adapter to change from the old style screw off cylinder, to the quick fill? If so how did the adapter perform? And was it, in your opinion, value for money and a worthwhile expense? The reason I'm thinking of doin this is because Im forever screwing the cylinder off to refill it, and I'm worried about the threads wearing out. The adapter costs £75. Screw it on once, then screw the cylinder on once job done. But if the threads go on the cylinder, it's £ 140 for a new one, and there is nothing stoping it happening to the new one. Thoughts please?
