Was a nice way to spend a few hours in the sun in glorious surroundings...............

I did look out for you Si, but bugger me, It's surprisingly hard to find find someone when you have never met them before. LOL. Maybe next time.

I enjoyed the show but only stayed a couple of hours, the dog was dealing with the heat better than I was! Nearly joined her in the lake a few times, lol.

Who won the whiskey raffle then?

the weather was the killer  far to hot for man or dogs

I look like a sun dried tomato this morning!!!. I parked under the trees and packed a water sprayer in the coolbox and kept giving the dogs a light spray in the lintran box and they were fine with the boot and windows open... I saw you paulus, Si pointed you out to me but i was waiting to go into the saluki x class. Looked for you afterwards but you must have gone home.

are shows on the decline anyway ? aint shown since 2005 when my daughter was into them she had a couple of pups bred for her and my old bitch -- won loads of shows that year she dragged me round 52 shows in a year :D some of em had really poor turn outs 16 at one show -- another we won best pup and res best pup russell bitch best russell dog best in show res bis and pairs all with 2 dogs best vet and entered with the old bitch all because the numbers where low 33 terriers in the whole show on a saturday .. :hmm: all well and good for collecting rossettes and bits of plastic the gal loved taking it all into school . back in the 80s i got 2nd with a russell dog in a class of 33 ..i`ve judged shows with the total number of entrys into the ring have been less than a 100 ..in the 80s/90s you`d get that in 4 classes ..i used to do the big shows loved the little uns let the mrs n kids show the dogs while i caught with the lads nowdays you even see the digging lads down on thr knees tickling tails and running the grooming brush thru em its gone daft..

i dont normally do shows anymore, there was a few good terrier blokes there from some of the local hunts. usual talk  i think it was quiet as the york show was on the same day mate, as for digging lads pampering their pooches  a few of the hunts no longer have paid terriermen and rely on part time voulenteers, you would be amazed at the amount of terriermen one of these hunts can have :whistling:
