Which one of these two was the better dog in the field. and which one sired better offsprings. I know there is a film of red couring, but I dont if there is one on Khan Jihad, so who is the better dog out of the two.

I don't think he means red the lurcher. There is a pure saluki called Red.

two different types of dog mate, one is a lurcher one is a pure saluki, so its hard to compare, it all depends on personal choice of what you like,

red saw the graft khan never,there does seem alot of handy stuff out of red my cousins down in kent kept a full litter back from red to there foxy/charlie bitch and there showing good promiss,but only time will tell

Thats what iv heard Reds a better dog in the feild, And Khan is know for throwing good stuff over the last few yr..

So if Khan has not done much in the field why use him? all you read on this site is when people are after a pup. Get a pup out of proven workers

personelly can be difficult decision , khan his a producer froma good line a and throws i believe fast type . on the oyther hand red has been one hell of a fen dog does he produce time will tell atb bunnys.

Its the same story line bred .... type bred you have a better chance of something decent in lines that are proven but at the end of the day the genes, the rearing, the training, the running and the owner all play a part in the dog so you pay your money and you take your chance.
