I'm working on a strain of angora e.u micros. I'm going to be rich beyond my wildest dreams.

 

There is a difference between a small ferret and a 'micro' ferret that is stupidly small and gets dragged around like a fecking kit, jockey ferrets as some call them, because the last you see of them is riding the bloody rabbit as it bolts across the field!

 

I keep a line of medium to large jills and never found a hole they couldnt fit down, and they dont get f****d about.

I`ve owned dark ferrets for years, they are all great workers, cept maybe one or two. I`ve bred them and gave kits away for free.

I`ve owned EU poleys, I know they are EU cause they are shit to handle and add f**k all to the working gene pool and I want 30 bucks each ! hahahaha.

 

I`ve blahb`d on and on aboot this before, all these EU`s that folk band about are nowt but dark ferrets, simple.

 

Until somebody shows me a dna test that show a different genetic make up to a run of the mill ferret this will continue to be my opinion.

Another way of looking at it is those members who keep banging on about how effective their super mustelids are compared to bog standard ferrets have been for the most part, conspicuous by their absence in the 'ferreting report' section on here. If they offered that much over a standard ferret, the reports section should be full of threads containing bigger than usual bags..

Who are you referring to as banging on about their super mustelids? The post originated from an ill informed title stating EU Polecats and Micros - the truth and it was far from that There are many on here that work as such Malt and just because you don't read it in the reports section it doesn't mean it's not the case.

I've been asking for YEARS, and still no one ever manages to tell me in what way an e.u poley does the job better than a decent ferret. Whenever they describe them, they sound just like a normal ferret, and when they say that they are so much better than a normal ferret, it just makes me think that they have only seen crap ferrets at work.
