where to start

Recommended Posts

Genuine interest to start with, and a lot of dedication to their welfare.

After that, nets, locator, collars, probe, spade, net bag, carrying boxes and potentially travel box for car.

If your going to use your dogs then you may or may not skip the nets.

You then need some permission with plenty of rabbits.

All the best.

whats your opinions on what sex to get some people say jills are better for hunting ?

Jills all the way for me, but a decent hob will move bunnies a jill may give up on.

Get yourself out with somebody from your area ,see what gear they use as it works in that area and take your time and add any equipment slowly as you have all summer .And think what are you going to do when they come into season etc as that will have a lot to do with what sex you go for but two jills and a snipped hob should live together all year round and be able to work most sized burrows
