Lab 10,979
If your only taking 10 eggs then why spend the money on the self turners. Just get a basic one and turn them yourself. Take you 2 seconds........
2.8 guy 403
im not around to turn them, my mate offered to loan me one of the others

Moll. 1,770
Better if you turn them at least 3 x per day, more if possible, always an odd number though Pity you were not nearer me i could have put them in my incubator, got room at the mo.

jasper65 6
I totally agree with Moll, heard some great hatch rates in the Mini Advanced. I used a simular Incubator called a Turn X a good few years back which hatched out everything <link below>, the sphere shape of these incubators distribute the heat more even than most cabinet systems, this eliminates the need for mapping when searching for hotter and cooler spots. I agree with 2.8 guy about the use of some Bantams, some are dead good and some just get off willy nilly and wreck eggs, had a couple of good broodie slikies that you had to lift off the nest to feed and drink, I'm sure some of these would never get off and feed if you didn't lift them off 4 - 5 times a day. http://www.multiscope.com/hotspot/brooder3.htm
Butler 396
Mother nature will give you your best results but if this isn't an option brinsea do a good range of incubators the pollyhatch being my favourite.
bobcullen79 1,495
Chicktec Smart 20 Observation. Brilliant little things. Cost about 140. Just hatched 10 out of 11 cuckoo marans.
