woke early this morning and fancied a bash at a couple of woodies so rifle in bag koda tagging along we just walked to a nice spot where i know woodies like to warm up on the tops of some very large conifers.they warmup before heading to feed in nearby fields ,missed my 1st two shots [cold hands lol] but my next shot hit home but the piugeon flew off ! but didnt fly in a normal pattern but just spirralled up and up untill it was very high then died in mid -air and dropped like a stone into some hawthorns 100 yds away ,koda had saw it drop and i sent him on to retrieve .he was away for a while so i went to give hima hand but just as i got there he emerged with it so into the bag it went and i managed two more in 20 minutes with koda retrieving to hand so back home for breakfast dog fed a little and off to work for a couple of hours

You done a tidy job taking the breasts off!

I had a day,on rape one day,i started off taking the breast out carefully,after doing a few like that,i just stuck my thumb under the breast bone and pulled the bone and all out.A bit crude but it saved alot of time.

i soaked the breasts in soy sauce all day then stir fried em with peepers onions and mushrooms -beautiful ! the rifle used was my mk2 rapid 7-billy
