I've got a 19" ped whippet bitch. Accident prone as they come, keen as feck but a total liability and when I watch her run my hearts in my mouth and I'm constantly cringing. She's only 11month(almost), broke both her back legs and after racing at kirkaldy has injured her back leg.........

Wouldn't change her for the world though

If it's a Ped Whippet you are after, have a word with Mally, off here; he has a dog, Sagar, who looks the real deal.... never seen him, but I've seen his dam, Vixen, work many times, day and night, and I've never seen a better Ped Whippet working ! Have a craic with the lad, he'll show you the dogs working, and make your own mind up.

Cheers.

I'll never forget the first time you came down for the 5 days mate. We were out almost every hour both daylight and night!!!. That was September and you were still eating the stuff you took back at easter!!. Good craic too especally when the rozzers followed us home, oh and the pissed farmer playing rambo with his baseball bat!!!.

Midnight, i don't think you live too far from me, your welcome to pop over for a look at the dogs and a chat. I do have some grassland that i can run this time of year so you can see the dogs run a few. Vixens 20" and 32lbs, Sagars 21" and 34lbs I like this size as they retrieve well and they can graft that little bit longer without losing the pace and agility.

Partridge, Pheasant. Duck, Goose, Rabbit, Hare, not tomention the veggies !! You said I should have brought my rod as well !! Happy days mate !! But as far as working Ped Whippets is concerned, I don't have much experience, but that Vixen bitch would put many Lurchers to shame ! No Bull !!

Cheers.

ped non ped what ever , my last bitch was a non ped flapping track bred bitch and stood at 17" not an attractive animal ha but fast as hell . she would over shoot when stuff jinked , tumble get back on her feet and be on terms with it again in a blink of an eye .

how do you find out more about the non ped stuff you guys just mentioned ?

i might want a stud in 6 months and a small fast performance whippet would be superb for what im thinking .

all the best , matt.
