paulus 26
some of that plastic mesh they use on scaffolding stretched tight across the roof about 2 inch from the wire will save a lot of bald scalps

fireman 11,038
Give the quail some cover to go into and they shouldn't be bouncing off the roof,i have 2 pairs one in each of my aviaires and they never bounce off the roof.Last year one even went broody and reared a couple of chicks and she's just gone down again and is sitting hard,i just move slowly around them and never have hassle of them spooking. As for the budgies, horrid things and get some natives instead . BEARINATOR 2,879
Just use a wooden box that is big enough and tall enough for them True about the going rate Sean, when I first started keeping them they were £4-£5 a bird
