too easily available and too cheap thats why they dont get looked after....

Some of my best ferrets have come for nothing, And ya i do think £20 is a bit much for a kit. However i dont think that a £20 or even a £100 is a lot of money for a Real decent ferret, Theres ferrets

Rather than mocking the price, why don't you just ignore it, if someone wants to buy one of his ferrets for £20 that's upto them, and good luck to him, i'm sure half the people on this site just look

As much as I don't agree with the arguing and bitching that constantly goes on on this site... If you were really concerned about them going to "experienced owners only" then the price shouldn't really matter. Fair enough don't put yourself out of pocket and ask for whatever its cost you to breed them (buttons). But putting a price tag on them like £20 doesn't send out the right message at all.

All the best of luck with them, but in my personal opinion you're not in it for the right for the right reasons.

Dave

Someone says they've had ferrets for 40+ yrs and never had a bad un well your standards are low or youve been very lucky, Trust me theres a lot about these days that just anit up for a decent days work, Been out with more than enough people ferreting and they've put there ferrets throw and too think the setts empty only too put another throw and get bolters... Theres ferrets and then theres ferrets IMO, Just cause theses are £20 dont mean there any better than some in the back of the free ads of nothing, But fellahs when you get a real one make sure you treasure it cause they dont IMO come round that often

you boys obviously dont respect your ferrets if you would pay a score for one. cmon its 20 quid at the end of the day? then some of u lot would buy a useless c**t on a dog for 100 quid

its about 10 new hemp purse nets! £10 is a fair price but £20 is being a greedy tw@ I give mine away FOC to lads I know n trust! been at it for 21 years n never paid £20..... :feck::lol:

I see now I have bad standards, how the hell would you know that,I take alot of people rabbiting from time to time,Deers stalking and duckshooting, and I have never had any complaints,I personally hunt several thousand acres never had a complaint from the farmers either,WHAT I said earlier was my opinion thats all,and if you note I said if they are brought up right, and I agree a good one is worth there weight in gold, but I stand by my original comment £20 is top money for a kit mate,

Totally agree mate.most ferrets will bolt rabbits given the chance but not all ferrets actively hunt for them.Ive also kept ferrets for around 30 years and ive came across alot of shite as well as excellent ferrets over the years. As ive said before on here some ferrets take a while to switch on to whats expected but sadly some do not even after a fair bit of time and effort. Ive had ferrets from my own working strain that are born hunters and take to it like veterans in their first few outings.I also have had ferrets from those same litters take months to start actively hunt for rabbits and sadly and if you are all honest we all have had ferrets that just fooked about and bolted the odd one and didnt really put much effort in to finding rabbits.i personally send them the way of the do-do bird .I would not consider passing one on or worse still breeding from one but all are given a fair amount of time to improve first. If the guy can get £20 a ferret then fair play i personally think in this day and age they are well under valued as it stands. i have seen ferrets kept in some gruesome states because they are cheep to buy and replace.Maybe if we all charged more for these gallant little animals when we do breed litters some of the dickheads i see with them would be put off owning one.

So you say we get new in every season [b*****k*] and our others have died because we cant look after them as in died through our neglect [b*****k*] and we are tight basterds who dont want to pay or care for em [b*****K*] you are fireing your mouth off, with no knowledge of the people you speak about,

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
