Guest long-tail
they selling up all their fisheries apparently think they said about 70 in all which is not good, lot lads i know rely on some the bigger pits and a few have got personel bests out some these waters the problem being if the wildlife trust decides to take them on they may well ban fishing on all these waters Edited May 4, 2012 by long-tail Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
LT, You should buy one of the lakes. Then build some house round it and make a fortune! I'll let you have that idea for free. Quote Link to post
PeakOil 352
I hope the LACS / RSPB etc don't buy any of the waters and ban fishing, would be a sad day for angling if that happened. 1 Quote Link to post
turk88 6
our local syndicate has is owned by Essex Wildlife Trust and it aint all bad to be honest, best thing they done is put a 6 week close season on the lake, only bad thing is we cant just do what we want with it, we have tyo go threw them for the approval, and you dont always get a warden/baliffe that fishish so they dont always under stand, so its bit off 50/50 if they get taken over by a trust, just depend on the head warden/baliffe Quote Link to post
