6mnth old pup greyhound ??

Hi is a 5mnth old pup greyhound to old to start training for rabbiting and to be used with ferrets and nets he does need some work on lead manners

Too young to be slipped but perfect age for stock breaking and training good luck with it from another greyhound hunter

it has not been trained at all so would have to start i would like to get it off the lead and walk by my side like my ex gun dog what i took in from re homing

Use the summer for getting good basic obedience and stock breaking sorted .

great age to start had a ex racer years ago used to be a great lamp dog and was ok with ferrets

it is for re homing need training to cat's trained not to pee in the house and with lead and off lead so hard to get it to come back to you i have all ways had dogs from puppies not 6 month old dog's and dont know how hard it is to train dog's this age ??

Just put all the basics like for a young pup in to it, hardest will be house training but me, Samba, Sandymere or Chartpolski will help you with the rest a message to any of us will have us trying to help you. I've never met them but I know they will be like me for helping someone

Don't attempt off the lead stuff , their extremely fast and strong dogs, even at 5months, the result will be your dig nocked over, dead cats etc lol I have a bitch which is slightly bigger than your average bitch greyhound..anything she sees running she's on to ..I might be getting a dog in the future, either pup out my bitch ,or a gh..I just love um lol

thank so you much for helping me i ant getting that pup i rang him to say i will pop down but he sold it. i have seen one more for sale a blue lurcher puppy that's 8 months is that a good age ?
