Is microchipping a lurcher a good or bad idea

i think its a good idea as there was an earlyer post of a lad had his dog nicked and got it back threw the dog being chiped so yes a very good idea

both my two mutts are chipped, dont understand why people dont maybe the rescue centres wouldn't be "as" over crowded if people took responability for their dogs. IMO.

had to have my russell pup chipped to comply with vet certs for tail docking i think all dogs should be chipped also like grch said it might ease the overcrowding in the rescues
