Joe67 239
Ma mum has been feeding a big stray tom cat for awhile, its been that long now i spose its her cat now,it sleeps in house now and since has been nueterd by the cat rescue, spose could say its hers now,am not a big fan of cats but its a big friendly tame beast. Since feeding this cat you see some others stealing food if theres been any left out and in this time a very young pregnat cat started coming about, the wee thing is shit scared of anything but in time come round the house more, like the tom cat she has been looking out for the young cat and was devastated to find it killed in next doors garden this morning. There has been abig black cat hanging about and we think its possible it might have done this, there this no visible injurys to the young cat except the stomach area wich has been opened, cat??Do cats kill other cats,i thought maybe a fox but a fox wouldnt have left it right? skycat 6,174
Tom cats often kill other young cats, but most usually kittens: in the same way that a lion will kill cubs which are not his own so the mother comes back in season quickly, so he can then sire the next litter. If the cat has been ripped open it is most likely the cat that has done it: with its hind claws: the fact that she was pregnant would mean the skin on her belly was taut, and more easily ripped open.
