Hello, Im 22 years old and looking for a local shoot (around east Sussex) to gain experience of beating. Not looking for money. Just the experience of doing it. I am looking to start a game keeping course at plumpton and want to gain as much experience as possible. Pm me if anything going. Any experience in shoots or game keeping would be very much appreciated.

Try national organisation of beaters and picker ups (N.O.B.s)....they find beaters for shoots.......just up your street

you should do it for money mate, its hard work on some shoots, and if you get 25-30£ quid for 6 hours you had to work bloody hard for it. You get on a shoot mate, most could with extra pair of hands .!
