millet will be good early on and have food value but drop off to nothing come end nov early dec and is only knee so high. Sorhgum is bascially maize with no cob and if not dwarf sorghum will grow as high as the maize weather permitted.It is affected by weather 2 if its really dry it wont come to much and the same if its really wet and theres no food value in it ,its just a cover,maize under sown with millet would be my choice.millet early on then when the cobs start dropping theyve got that as a secondary food source.regards burnie

100% agree with burnie69..

sorhgum is only any good as a wind break in reality to maize.
