stop.end 4,082
dixiebop...i swear society has gone feking beserk....you see the boy with the vixen on the lead said she doesnt want to go back into the wild.... while all the time restraining it on a HARNESS like a bulldog...why...because if he had of took the pink harness off it for 1 second wee mildred the vixen was legging it into the wild,,,, that rspca man laughing in the ladys face who got bit.... rspca condoning keeping a wild animal CAPTIVE by a harness ...wheres the animal protection acts of 1911 there ehh ....RSPCA also watching LIVE may i add.... cubs wandering around in a clearly distressed and poisioned state but all watched on cam for viewer entertainment accompanied with soft touching tones of music  ....then setting another set of cubs clearly readily available like puppies to them...in a den where cubs have succombed to some sort of horrifying and deeply painful disease just 24 hours before..... to the DELIGHT may i add and not the DISMAY of the so called fox lover...if i had a litter of pups that died of a disease like that what ever it was... i certainly wouldnt move another litter straight into there death beds :nono: .....next it will be fashionable to have vulpus on a lead!!!!!!! 5 Quote Link to post

lurcher330 2,301
With the right person on that program it could show people that they need controlling, with a realistic view that there is too many of them, i did not see one healthy looking fox on the whole 1/2 of it i bothered to watch,if the R.S.P.C.A went to a house with a dog in the state them foxes where in they would have a full page story in the paper about how it was at death door and how good they where just to get it back in good condition 5 Quote Link to post

Chances are the so called unauthorised group/charity would have the police backing to have a socialised pet taken away and PTS for an acute version of a similar incident. Double standards, speaks volumes in itself. 3 Quote Link to post
Waz 4,266
The fella with the 11 year old fox in a harness reckons he will release the 1 week old cub when its old enough, in the meantime he's taking it round the high street and letting everyone have a stroke... think its his new fund raiser stunt for when the harness one keels over.... 2 Quote Link to post
Cleanspade 3,324
seen 9 foxes on a two mile drive . two of them at mc donalds. last night. they will never get a clear picture if they alienate the folk that care most about foxes. the folk that have a lifetimes studies and detailed knowledge of these creatures. this is how a well fed urban fox should look. its sad to see the state these animals are in. even a hardened bunnyhugger must see that over population aint good for them and neither is a harness . a good healthy fox is a sight to behold. i never saw one on this program. its worth remembering that an animal is not a pest becouse of what it is. but becouse of where it is. and you have to fear for the urban fox . the writings on the wall for them you mark my words. people in general fear them. rabies would spread like wildfire through the fox population and must be a real concern. 7 Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
They are beautiful animals that are to be admired and despised , it is frustrating watching the one sided footage , a more balanced approach would be preferable (and a welcome change)..... , there is clearly a difference between an urban fox and its country cousin , interesting to see the differences , as I have only ever seen the latter , too many people wanting to live the country life in the concrete jungle.........inclucding the fox seemingly.
