i have a pitterdale bitch and im starting to get worried abouut how tall she is growing! i really dont want her to be to big to work to ground! how tall should the average working pup be at about 13 weeks? thanks

:laugh: F*ck me! Calm down, Josh! I'm no bloody expert, mate, but even I know Patt's ~ like JR's can be leggy buggers. Nothing wrong with that. Legs fold down and go under. It's when they get chests like barrels ye need wonder :D

 

Anyway, what ye going to do? Saw her legs down a bit?! She'll be fine, mate. I have a JR here with legs like bloody stilts. Still has a body like a loo roll tube. She'll get where ever she needs to too ;)

 

Now maybe some recognised 'authority' can chip in and put ye mind better at rest?

Hi Josh,from my very limited knowledge of digging,and having seen the pup,I would say you will have a first rate dog there.It is certainly bold enough,and it's chest/body look perfect,if it carries on growing in the proportions it has now.Put some photo's up mate,I'm sure everyone will agree then.

Oh,by the way I had a 'Charlie' up the stables the other night(post on 'Shooting').

HI MATE I HAVE A PATT THE DOG WAS BIG AS A PUP BUT WHEN HE GOT OLDER IT WAS ALL JUST LEG AS LONG AS IT IS SPANNABLE ROUND THE CHEST ITS OK LEGS FOLD AWAY MATE HOPE HE DOES U PROUD :thumbs-up:

HI JOSH WELL YOU HAVE SEEN THE PARENTS AND I G-TEE THAT PUP WILL BE NO BIGGER THAT ITS MOTHER JUST REMEMBER THE LEGS WILL GROW AND THEY GET GANGLE BEFORE THE BODY FILLS OUT, THE MOTHER WILL GET ANYWHERE CHARLIE WILL GET SHES BACK TO HER FIGHTING WIEGHT NOW AND FLYIN DONE 3 THIS WEEKEND
