Catcher 1 639
Come on cather 1,whch part of my post do you disagree with ? That you can stop a half cross collie or a coursig dog would be useless ? All of it.First of all you cant put a dogs recall down to breed.Fool.It just happens. If you get a great dog in your lifetime your a lucky man.I had that pleasure. All my dogs after it had to make that grade. And only one came near. Quote Link to post
Chid 6,542
You can train half collie crosses to stop befor the course gets going properly ,which isnt a bad thing considering what they are generaly used for.But a coursing dog you would have no chance,if you could it wouldnt be worth a carrot! Imagine you was running a match and one of the other side had a whistle !!! Hahaha one of the other side having a whistle .... Dogs can tell the pitch and pressure of how it's owner blows a whistle if they couldn't imagine the dogs in a beating line lol Quote Link to post

Recall is about obedience, obedience is directly related to brain regardless of what any breed blind enthusiast will tell you and certain breeds og dog are brainier than others. Or are you telling us different, if so mate, you're the fool. Quote Link to post

Well i must be a good fool. This line is still going strong today. And anyone who puts down obediece to a breed of dog is a fool.It only take time and effort. Then again if you dont have the know how.Blame the dog.Prick. bigdaz 688
Firstly, why get abusive??. So, obedience and the breed of dog have no connection ?. So what your saying is that every breed of dog is suitable for every task?. Don't see many farmers using anything other than collies to work sheep, go and try winning a field trial or an obedience trial with an afghan hound/akita/foxhound/basenji could list them forever. Delete your posts mate, before more people read them, I'm actually embarassed for you. 1 Quote Link to post
