mickeyandmouse 40
A jacker is usually what the shifty looking fella In the pubs trying to sell as a 5 out of 5 dog For a bargain as he's selling up as he has no work Or he's moving house or he got kids or relocating Or he got to many dogs just a couple of the reasons 1 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Tell your mate to behave himself. There's nothing to brag about if you can call your dog off once he's mid chase. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
To be honest, i have enough trouble getting my dog to hear my voice when he is in even vague proximity to game, let a lone, once it's sighted. Although its a good test,if he has his noseto the ground and totally ignoresme when i call him, chances are within the next 5 mns you will see a run. But once it's up, he just completely goes deaf and dumb to anything else. Only dogs i could imagne being able to do it without it hidering would be collie x's. I'm sure it could be done, but only to the detrement of the dogs working ability, as it will always ben half waiting to hear the command to stop. If that makes sense? Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Mind you, unlike most others on here, i wouldnt mnd having a dog that could be called off mid chase at all, as long is its working ability was good, as in todays climate it could be handy, as i realy love day work, and thats often leads to 'issues' haha., Quote Link to post
