Im new to knife making and need some help. Ive made a few blanks and done some wood work on them but have no idea on how to treat the wood. I have read about lots of pepole using oil but i dont know what type, a friend told me to use bees wax, is that any good?

I Reccomend tru oil it's what I use on all my knives & catapults

It's a lot easier to use than walnut oil or Danish oil etc

With walnut oil the key is to apply very little at a time it you will get a sticky residue

So I would go for tru oil buddy it's what they use on many gun stocks and shotguns
