been working in london this week, not just in one place all over central london

used to work there 20 odd yrs ago round knighsbridge, heathrow airport etc

considering its our capital, what a sh*t hole of a place

white faces are certainly a minority

full of shops selling the same sh*te spilling onto the roads

rubbish and rats everywhere

Yep, in plenty of ways no different than any city but I like the place, love the history there and enjoy my all too infrequent visits.

I live just outside North London and have done my fair share of work (Electrician) in all parts of London and have to agree it's an absolute shit hole lol but so is every other city Iv worked in.

London is the same as it always been accept for more immigrants ! And as for rubbish and rats,just read a Charles dickens book or Samuel Pepys diary . It always been and over populated dirty city ! Only difference is know the Thames is cleaner !

My Dad lived in London for over 20 years so I went down there pretty often, and I've seen a drastic change in the people over the years. It's rare you hear a Cockney accent down there now, as even the new generation of Cockney's speak with that disgusting immigrant twang (Like N-Dubz). Local dialects, accents and traditional characteristics all but finished because of this wonderful harmonizing thing they call multiculturalism!

 

I still love going there because of the history and the sights, but for me, its a real shame to see what has happened to the people!

True lads there's a lot of young people speaking in that street slang . But I'm pretty sure London isn't the only city that has this problem! Don't worry it won't be long though ,as it spreads from our larger cities to your town . Along with the immigrants looking to buy a house in the country !

only got one indian here and hes more english than i am nothing for them here, all staight roads, no corners the romans were forward thinkers :laugh:
