millytheterrier 12 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 If you know anyone that works at a chicken farm with day old chicks, ask them to get you some. if you were local to me, I could get you some cobb table birds, but day olds or hatching eggs, got a mate who works at a farm that breeds them. or buy hatching eggs off ebay light sussex x indian/cornish game they make good table birds. milly. The guy has crossed Australorp with Indian game over generations to produce a heavy bird, that looks good too. I would definitely go down this route if i had the space to raise for meat.
