I wonder why so called hunting men hunt fox cubs this time of year as I was out for a walk I came across a cub lying on hedge it makes me angry when men take young fox's when they are only the size of a household pet it pains me to see that it may be young lad's but they should know the way of it if they are hunting and I enjoy a good day out with the terrier's as does everyone that is into terrier work I would like to know what people think of this situation please feel free to reply to my topic thanks...

I think there is a fine line between foxes as a pest and as a sporting animal and a fox slip's on both side's very easily,it is an unfortunate evil that is carried out,i fail to see why folk would rel

I don't think anyone would get pleasure out of killing cubs,but a vixen with cubs are the biggest problem for farmers and keepers ,with a few mouths to feed they will take easier prey such as lambs,ch

If a farmer told me get rid or lose permission then i know which it would be.   All the best.

the reason u do terrier work is to get rid of the pest on farms hence when u ask for permission u wud ask if there geting problems with foxes

at this time of year there is lambs and young poults that need protecting hence the scenario i dont know every1 elses view but i like to keep permission

and gain some as i have recently been called out i dont go out every week jus when called upon

i do dread it tho but it has to be done atb artful

Unless leaving them will affect your employment,or you are protecting your livestock,i prefer to leave them to mature and make a more worthwhile sporting option.

sad state of affairs killing cubs id give my permission up before id kill a cub or leverret fucksake fair law as they call it thats not hunting

its called pest control bud which has to be done when a farmer asks for it to be done :thumbs: so you would lose your permission to someone else just to wait till the season starts cause i would not lose it if there a problem they have to be dealt with

had to get artful to stand in for me local farmer if you wernt doing the job you wouldnt be back Edited by Hoker
