I put a few pics on a gsd and malinois site they all thought it was a pure malinois i had to tell them in the end the gsd group where saying thats how a gsd should look with the straight back

I would rule out the grew as the whippet genes may produce a short legged looking shepherd,

I always wanted to cross a collie grey over my shepherd Lurcher when I had her,

But I reckon a saluki/grey would be good cross as well.
