For Sale For sale: BSA Hornet .22 carbine

This is my wonderful .22 singleshot BSA hornet carbine with BSA silencer.

 

It is light, accurate, nicely balanced and very quiet. It has a crisp, adjustable, 2-stage trigger.

It has some marks on the stock and a scuff on the pellet chamber as can be seen in the pictures. If polished the majority of the marks on the stock will be unnoticeable. There is some very faint rust on the air chamber.

 

I'm also throwing in a 3-9*50GD Bushmaster scope with mounts. This scope works nicely with the rifle but its illuminated reticle is broken.

 

I'm selling the rifle as I can't afford a tank and have decided to revert to a nice, self-sufficient springer.

 

£225 for the lot and I will throw in ~300 accupell pellets to sweeten the deal and get you going.

I feel that this is a nice deal for a good gun that is especially suitable for someone looking for a first pcp or as a hunting rifle.

 

I live in Bath, Somerset and would prefer to meet as paypal can be a pain in the arse!

Hmmm, could well be interested. Is the breach just scruffed or chipped, can't tell form the picture?

I would describe it as a scuff as only a layer of metal has been scratched off. You're welcome to come have a look without committing. I've taken an additional photo to give you a better idea.

That's a bargain. I ended up with a .22 pcp so I should have bitten your hand off when you mentioned this was up for grabs! Hope the 97 is behaving!

It's simplicity invites tinkering! Hence, i believe why most spend their time in peices, a testiment to its design rather than a flaw. Took him on a hunt and he performed admirably. Very pleased, but the ego wants MORE GUNS! ALL OF EM!

It is a dam good price as well; good luck with the sale. I just hope I can find another like it at the end of the summer; if we get a summer this year that is!
