Did her swelling go down after you took the hob out?

i think there should be a post that stays at the top of the forum advising people their options with jills. As most think

they have to breed them every year! Would be a good place to start.

What are the options Joe?

As I've read enough posts on here saying you can't do this and you've got to do that,

then someone will follow with, no you don't need to do that etc etc.

Spey them, jab them, put a vas hob on them - an entire hob is only if you want to breed...

Aye wait till he finds out a litter of kits eats as much as a small African nation ,you got to keep them for twelve weeks and most of them will be hobs no bugger wants and at best you get a lousy fiver for each kit

I have been wondering that recently, although it's an annual thing.

go easy, maybe help the lad instead?,some people jump on the band wagon to easy.maybe wait alittle bit before riping into members who have contributed more than you.

This lad works his ferrets more than some I know on here so i would offer advise here rather than stick. It`s quite possible young LK needs extra stock fo rnext year given the amount he does. His ferrets are all well looked after.

If he breeds I might take a kit mesell to add new blood. If he doesn`t then hey ho.

Is that all the options? Which would you recommend?
