Alright lads just been thinking about bull x greys, I know alot of lads around me prefere genuine half x or second third etc generation and swear buy them. But I aint purely convinced.

 

What's your thoughts on adding different blood every couple of generations say like suluki greyhound or bull whippet back to the bull grey line, could adding a touch of some thing else every now and again produce better dogs?

Not just talking about half x's here mate can be any percentage on both sides. 3/8 5/8, 3/4 or of unknown percentage.but only bull grey in the mix, do you think you can produce better withabit of something else added

im not over joyed on wheatens eather danny but by far a better dog an a good coat on them.....bullx coats as short as a whippet an everything on them is plain to see

I used to feel the same way my. friend till I seen there capabiltys, personaly I've seen genuine wheaten greys work yer there handy but i wouldn't want one over a bull x each to there own end of the day, any sensible comments from genuine lads are welcome. not sure if i'll get any on here but worth a try !

Personaly I wouldn't want to add brain as i think there high prey drive and more determenation (spelling) than most other x's is confused buy those who dont realy know the x as being thick, but i find there totaly opposit, not saying there as clever as a collie x but there far from stupid imo but I suppose in any x just like people you always get the odd doppy feker lol.

If you take a minute lads and read my first post again I wasnt asking is there a better x out there than a bull x, thats been done a thousand times before ! I'm asking can you produce better bull x's with a touch of whippet or suluki here or there.
