bigbailey 90
Anyone else had problems with there whippets feet/Pads. Just took 6 weeks to heel pads from some simple retrieve training on grass so very limited lead walking and plenty of days not walking as she was on three legs. Spent the last two weeks road walking after them pads had healed, decided to give her a bit of exercise off the lead, 2mins comes back on three legs again, Ive been giving the whippet loads of road work to harden them, my other dogs are fine and never have feet problems, My whippet would never take the knocks my lurcher has. Anyone Else had these problems or got any ideas????
Terrier Sam 297
Interesting to hear what people have to say on this. I've got one that hasn't had as many injuries as that and doesn't get hurt as easy as that but has got a knocked up toe that took about 6-8 weeks to heal. Interesting to hear what people do to condition their dogs feet. ATB Sam

martin 332
All you need to do is soak the feet in Surgical Spirit, and that tip came from the Track Vet at Swindon.
