danny300 2,240
would never take pics of pups in the first few days let the mother get on with her job You would if you were trying to flog them to the highest bidder. true liam wont even look and see is there dogs and bitches till there 3 days And i certainly wouldn't be able to pick which one i was keeping until they where at the VERY least 5 or 6 weeks old and if people don't know if they want them until they see if they are rough or smooth ,they would be told to f off ,they are another substandard example of a terrier bred to generate cash spot on graham how can you pick a pup at a day old i like to wait until 6 weeks and if someone has to get first pick for the service i wont pick until after he has but i would no what i was going for but will wait till he has first pick Quote Link to post

You put up pictures of your dogs and you ask people what they think, that means you have to be able for criticism without sulking.I was the one that said about the highest bidder, you insinuated you might have people to take them, that is called throwing out a feeler to see is anybody interested in buying. When i made my criticism it had nothing to do with the fact they were never to ground,it was because they are puny terriers with no bone and no strength in head what so ever(in my opinion)PS even ratting dogs get plenty of scars as well and constant ratting is a hard game for terriers. Those dogs would not be able for it. No offence just my opinion. 1 Quote Link to post

Clare 33
I never asked what you thought I just put pics up as I was proud of my girl having her pups and I deff was not putting "feelers" out I think you cant judge terriers by pictures as they can be very deceiving at the end of the day my terriers do what I want and thats kill rats around the farm I have never claimed they are the best dogs around or top terriers Quote Link to post
patterdale666 1,620
If they are NO use then why bother breeding them? you could of got a pup off Top terriers or the best around then you wouldnt have the hassle of rearing pups and your bitch could carry on as normal killing rats. I know right I should ... Makes me weary about ever posting again, no wonder they is so many people who join post once and never come back! and yes I weight daily for the first week, its very important to make sure pups are gaining weight its very easy to miss one that is not thriving as much as the others and just think its a small one and before you start I have a degree in animal management, canine behaviour, among others, grew up on a farm and have been working and breeding labradors for other ten years If a MOD could lock this I would be very grateful as this threads going nowhere, I will think carefully before posting pics and stuff here again Quote Link to post
