Carraghs Gem 1,675
I was looking for a hairy deerhound x, couldnt find one though so got a saluki x Reason I didnt get a bull x was because I want a potfiller. How much saluki in that x Gem? Hes not a first x and theres a bit of deerhound and irish terrier in there as well all though its not a dominent feature in him, percentages wasnt my first priority when I chose this pup. 1 Quote Link to post
asanley 1,009
A well bred bullx , in the right hands , reared and trained right can be as good an all round dog as any other , a scatter bred , muscle bound , bashed up , untrained liability ,with a half wit on the other end of lead is an embarressment to us all. 4 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
I hope bull x's become less popular, i don't have one, but i respect them and quite like them, and maybe if the popularity falls, then the quality will rise. In fact, i would say that i wish ALL lurchers became less popular, as popularity in any thing, leads to muppets getting involved and standards falling. J.porter - You keep going on about that pup and it looks nice, but you have only had it 5 mins and bought it in, so i'd hush your gums until you actually know, rather than think, its decent. By saying that it is as game or able as a well bred bull x is total nonsense. 7 Quote Link to post
