darbo 4,776
done plenty of bushing with terrier and lurcher. early on just used to keep the lurcher back from the cover with me and slip it on bolters. over a period of time the lurcher will naturally work out the best place for it to be is on the outside while the terrier works the cover. buster gonads 862
Look for the place the rabbits are most likely to bolt too. either the next brambles or a set, and stand with your running dog so he can see the rabbits bolt, he,ll soon learn to let the Plummer do the graft, what do you think of the Plummer as a bushing dog, i think they,r great Quote Link to post
spazzy paddy 127
as stop end said keep it on a slip stand back and let the lurcher watch what the terrier is doing he will soon cotton on and soon learn that when the terrier goes in something will come out . atb sp Quote Link to post
