Yep Everton would be up there as well.........Not sure they would be above Arsenal but certainly 2 clubs who live within their means and have relative success doing so.........how ironic they both just happen to be 2 of the most traditional old clubs, longest serving clubs in top flight football, longest serving managers in top flight football........in the game today.....................funny how when you look a little deeper than whats shoved in our faces every day you see who the true football clubs are !

Well said mate, Moyes does a great job at Everton without having real star players ( as such), when I watched them at UTD Fellaini (spelling) was a real handful and Jelavic is another top player, not sure on costs but there astute signings..... Wengers been a master at it for years, he must hate City more than anyone, Nasri, Clichy, Adebyor,Toure all went for the money...... Would love to see a club like Everton really upseting the apple cart one year and...................... finish 2nd to UTD :tongue2::laugh:

get real :wallbash:

Stranger things have happened, just look at city now.. :bye:

Totally agree. Moyes has worked wonders at that club with a very tight budget  .

I'm still miffed why the arab fella chose to throw all his money at Manchester City? there's plenty of other teams with History of winning trophies which surely was far more apealing.....

I dont hate Man Unt, some of their fans yes, but the team no.......saying that one of the best moments of my life was watching DiCanio go round that buffoon Bartez at Old Trafford and knock in the winner, but they are without doubt a great club.

It seems to me that the trouble with very succesful clubs is that they have a lot of fickle fans attach themselves to the club and when things go "wrong" (if you can call 4 titles and maybe a 2nd place in 5 years wrong) they want to talk silly, they dont remember what its like to play every season just to try and stay alive.

Some of us know what its like to pay your gate money every week, knowing before you start that you will most likely be in for heartache and dissapointment, but just wanting to be at "your" ground, stood amongst 30,000 others who are making the ground shake singing, staying till the bitter end when you are getting the piss took out of ya 4-0 and still being the loudest fans in the ground

You see Boro supporters leaving 20 minutes from the end, you see so called fans calling for the managers head when they have enjoyed unparalled success, you see clubs changing managers like you change your socks, bar room experts who have never kicked a ball in their life in anger explaing how Wenger or Fergie or whoever is in charge of Chelsea this week are getting it all wrong..........sorry boys, but its wankers talk!

Great clubs, shit fans seems to be the way.......
