Malt 379
Bloody hell! its my girlfriend had some interest in them so thought i would look in to it wont bother now cheers.. Don't take offence pal, it's just they are seriously fecked up, badly bredanimals. They can't suckle their own young because they don't produce milk properly, they can't clean their coats properly so need daily grooming, the coat itself is missing its undercoat so they suffer badly in the winter... Etc etc.. There was some divvy bint trying to pedle them on here a few years back for 200 a pop. They are disasters of an animal which would die out within a generation without massive human interference from birth. They are seriously more fecked up than some dog breeds, so maybe now you can understand the reaction ferret keepers here give them when the subject props up.. Quote Link to post

Leeview 791
They cant rear there own young so they are fostered out ??. Just to clarify this point out, these breeders mate their angora jills to an angora hob this produces 100% angora kits that as has been stated the angora jill cant produce enough milk(does produce some just not enough) So to get round this hitch they have another jill mated at the same time as their angora jill to the angora hob these kits are where the 50% angora kits come from, as the two jills are kept together to raise all the kits Obviously the 100% angoras go for a lot more £££ than the 50% angoras but these are still a lot dearer than ferrets Y.I.S Leeview Edited April 24, 2012 by Leeview Quote Link to post
The one 8,530
I can rarely be bothered raising kits and i certainly wouldn't go threw all that pa lava Quote Link to post
lurche 48
people will if there gettin 200 a go for 20 odd kits thats 4000 and less hassle than a load of dogs you can see the problem Quote Link to post
