BEARINATOR 2,872
He should have the anti-bodies to cope then, when you go ratting he will get a few bites. Just clean the bites and his face will swell where he got bit. Wait for the swelling to go down and take him out again. After a while he will stop swelling up where he has been bit Quote Link to post

stormyboy 1,352
Get it jabbed before ratting. A dog should be jabbed anyway. Lepto isnt a nice way to go mate and its more common than you might think. You or the dog can catch it from infected rat urine-no bite required. Quote Link to post
young man 225
Berinator is right . Get it it's jabs then it's boosters Quote Link to post
fireman 11,033
Dogs don't need boosters, none of mine ever get them and they kill hundreds of rats every year, never had a problem with lepto but there's so many strains of lepto it's hardly worth jabbing them against it anyway. Boosters are a vet scam to get you to pay more money on a yearly basis, get them done when there pups and thats all thats needed. 3 Quote Link to post

fireman 11,033
I allways jab them as pups but thats it, seen to many parvo and distemper cases to risk that old do. Quote Link to post
