earlystart 56 Posted April 22, 2012 Report Share Posted April 22, 2012 I went fishing two dever spring on my Xmas break and caught three 12lb ish trout I cooked one and ate hardly any of it and through the rest. sikastag_1 689 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 Gave trout to my dogs before plenty times mate, big pot and boil them then siv through the flesh carefully, most of the fish will stay in chunks anyway so as your peeling it apart take the bones out, wouldn't give them too much at once tho cook it and freeze day size portions feed it twice a week or whatever just not too much. pernod 466 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 Hi, I do a lot of trout fishing, so my dog eats plenty of fish throughout the season. 2-3 minutes in the microwave, depending on size of the fish, then pull the head up and the bones will come out intact attached to the head.
