mad al 146
Know sod all about S/S as a barrel, but I know that it is one hard metal to play around with Al Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Stainless barrels are a lot easier to screw cut, than a crome moly barrel, it cuts cleaner, and doesn,t dull the tools as quick, plus the thread doesn,t need blueing afterwards. Give me stainless any day of the week. Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
The only downside of a stainless barrel is the price. Other then that its all plus. Quote Link to post
v-max 2
Yeh a strong/hard metal but good i plan to rebarrel my 22.250 & like the remmy light varmint on border-barrel's site.I like it for it's water resistent property but sure they can suffer from corrotion from powder's or some thing like that inside the barrel best ask border-barrel's etc about that im not sure. Guest Scuba1
Plus they're shiny Bead blasting takes care of that. Lets be honest, a flouted ss barrel has a fondle factor of at least 10+ Quote Link to post
