Do you get another and then have 4 lurchers? Sometimes despite being offered an amazing prospect (been there and so have my mates) you must behonest with yourself and know to take it on would be a bad move The sad fact is most dogs aren't given enough work to assess their capabilities and many lads think they ,must be the "real deal" if there kennels are overflowing.......... Spot on about having 3 young dogs especially if you use them for the same discipline then finding the work becomes a problem, I do a fair bit of day/night work and my older dog excels at day work whereas the young bitch is a good lamper so I find a nice balance, the pup I'm hoping will suit all types of work and shot and retrieved quarry ;-) Quote Link to post
