forest of dean redneck 11,788
The wife done a direct debit plan to donate each month for the eldest lad as his birthday. she just had a call from a company reading a standard letter ,so she asked them to get to the end and the women asked if she wanted to increase payments apperently wwf pay this company thousands to cold call members to generate more donations so any money donated doesnt all go on preserving our planets wildlife so the direct debit has been canceled online and shes going into bank next week to cancel over counter so they cant set up a new one. any wildlife sponsership will be done for local wildlife from now on.

Ratreeper 441
I got my mrs to cancel her payments to the RSPCA, after pointing out where the money really goes. I am not sure they are better than nothing, because if people stopped giving to these massive corporate charities then the smaller ones that don't pts everything they can get their hands on might be able to do a little bit more. I only donate to the Wilflife trust for now, they seem good to me as they are all about preserving habitat which makes sense and gives everyone somewhere to walk their dogs too.
