cmccmc 24 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 Just a little update on my beddy/whippet - she's my first lurcher, but I think she's doing pretty well for her age. She's topped out at 18 1/2" tts - she was the smallest in the litter, so it's no real surprise. Stockbreaking is going well - she is completely steady to poultry, even offlead. She walks past sheep, cattle and horses with no bother, and I hope to do more work with her once lambing season is over. This morning she caught her first rabbit! Just a baby, but she retrieved it live to hand very nicely. Bodes well for next season . All in all I couldn't be happier with her, and I'm looking forward to bringing her on even further. 5 Quote Link to post
