MUDD 374
A lurcher I had when I was younger scaled my then girlfriends large garden fence while i was in her house watching the usa94 world cup I think he used the bin to his advantage an got over the fence when he spotted a cat in the street. Caught it killed it spied another 1 under a 40 ft lorry done it too and then chased a 3rd right down between the houses in threw the owner of the cats house got it in the kitchen and killed it too. I knew nothing about it until there was a rap at the door and a fella had the dog by the collar face red with blood. The local mp was out who lived a few doors down and he showed me the cats that were still lying we're the dog had left them. I didn't know what to say or do, lucky enough the mp used to keep hunting dogs so he explained to the woman and her family it was an accident and I apologised and that was the end off it. All the wee lads in the estate called me cat killer for years after. 2 Quote Link to post

The Duncan 802
cats are free spirits in the eyes of the law and the owners have no legal responsibility for them. Dogs are chattels and the owner is responsible for its actions. The Law is an ass - just for a change! Quote Link to post
