Britishbull24 131
Buy the best Scope you can afford mate. You dont need alot of range with a scope for a .22LR as you are never going to shoot past 100 yards. Obviously the .223 is a different kettle of fish. I have a 3.5-16x50 on my .22LR now and to be honest i very rarely have it set past 10x Quote Link to post
PMC 2
Nikon Pro-staff 3-9x50 on my 22lr. I love it, think it's a great scope for not a huge wedge of cash. PMC Quote Link to post
verminator 66 2
I would say for £350 the MTC Gennisis 5x20x50 is one for the 2 rifles you got I use one on 17 22 and 223 I find I only go up to 10x but the glass quality is well good or another I have used and liked is the mamba 4x16 The SCB ret is a bit much for some people but its well worth the money Quote Link to post
verminator 66 2
Simmons WTC 3.5x10x50 can not go wrong good scope for the 223 but a 22lr needs hold over points Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 496
For my .22lr i use a MTC Mamba Lite. You can get them for £160, got parallax and SCB reticle. I got this scope to replace a more expensive scope that didn't have any side parallax, which i needed for my night vision add on, and it is just as good. Quote Link to post
JonathanKent 16
I would recomend Redfield scopes: http://www.redfield.com/ they are made by leupold as their 'value' brand I have one of their 3-9x50's on my .22 its a good peice of kit and quality glass for the money. No its not as good as my leupolds, but theres not that much in it and it was only £230 and it comes with the Leupold lifetime warranty. And I can tell you that the Leupold warranty is worth ts weight in gold, I had a problem with one of their scopes, I sent it back to them and they sent me a new scope, no questions asked.
