Malt 379
Could you take the hozelock fitting off the end of the hose, push the hose over the tap and secure it with a jubilee clip? If the hose is too narrow you may be able to stretch it by heating it up in really hot water.

Thanks Malt, sounds like a plan I have it sussed for you Moll all you need is a small piece of garden hose fastened to this double male connector then pushed onto the barrel tap.. http://www.garden4le...e-connector.asp Still don't understand it do you not have an ouside tap moll,,,, if not you can buy a kit to install one yourself,, ive done it very easy to do Yes i do Tomo but the water pressure is practically zero here and the pressure washer cannot work properly because of it. Even things like lawn sprinklers you get to water the garden can not work
jsmith 103
This is a very rough drawing of the setup I've often used to get around the problem of low mains pressure. The average pressure washer uses water at a rate of about 11lt/min this can go down to around 5lt/min but can go up to hundreds of Lt/min depending on the machine being used. This setup should keep most pressure washers going despite the mains pressure and can easily be set up to take rainwater from a drainpipe and so get around a hosepipe ban.

Lab 10,979
I take it you want to use the tap when you are not using the washer Moll? If so get yourself a 'barrel connector' fitting and fit it to your barrel. If you go on the MDPE pipe fitting site you'll get everything you need....
