mally 832
I bought a new lamp at the weekend at the Gamekeepers fair at catton park. To be honest i didn't expect too much as it was only £45 but i was very surprised with it tonight. I took the whippet for a run and it has a great tight beam out to 300 yards its got a built in battery and it weighs about a pound. I've put some nylon cord through the handle so it'sagainst my chest when not in use and i've a hand free. http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/led-torches/357-clubriter-rechargeable-led-hand-torch.html Just noticed that you can buy filters for it too, but to be honest with the way the rabbits squattered in the beam tonight i don't think you'll be needing one. mally 832
There really handy for an hour or two lamping the small fields around here with the whippets. I've been running my younger dog tonight and he's run the beam better than he's ever run it tonight mate only missing 2 from 12 runs. He caught 5 squatters without them even moving out there seat and thats on land i've been lamping since september!!. I like the low beam too as it's great for getting through hedges and over ditches etc.

I am the same, I also found that the dogs didn't catch on to the change of beam straight away. They still are more eager when the blitz comes out
mally 832
Took my Young whippet Dog out lastnight he caught 11/11 runs, he runs down the beam much better than when i use the lightforce striker.
bunnys 1,228
sem a good little lamp , thinking on though back a days we use to use very small nock ups out of sealed disco lights . the dog learns to lamp much better and the plus factor there was little sign s of even being there , for nocking rabbs over in small tight hedgey fields and padocks round wood sides etc ,i would think they would be just the ticket . atb bunnys. mally 832
how long does the battery last mally ?? Don't know for sure mate as never run it down totally mate, was out almost 2 hours last night. It says 3 hours continuosly on in the instructions mate which i won't disagree with as it's only an LED and it only took an hour to charge after lastnight. I won't charge it after tonight ans i'll see how long it lasts throughout next week. If you want to borrow it anytime mate let me know.
