I just said that the r10 as it comes..With a silencer was to long for shooting out both windows, they don't come 36" , we're talking about standard rifles..or arnet we?

how many of you would consider a huntsman an upgrade from an R10? :hmm:

Thought you were talking about guns, can'y see owt about Standard

how many tuned r10s are out there to tuned huntsmans ..have you had experience with both ,before and after a gun has been to jb ..I'm just saying it how it is, they are good guns..unless both were tuned or standard its hardly a fair comparison ..and jb can do so many things one r10 could be diffrent to the next

My figuring is that in this country we have a non FAC limit of 12 ftlbs, so neither can 'out power' the other.

Nearly all reasonable airguns can out shoot the shooter for accuracy these days, especially in the '£600 + new' price range

Both the Huntsman and R-10 (Mk1 or MkII) are quality guns if you get a good one and an arse if you get a pig.

It all comes down to which you prefer and feels better, neither will make you a better shot by ownership alone.

I've held a Huntsman and thought it was nice. I held an R-10 and thought it was awesome, even though the stock is right handed and I'm a lefty. It just fits and balances right.

It's all personal and I made my choice, I'm very happy now and will be delighted, I'm sure, when it comes bck from XTX tomorrow.

Hence, R-10 for me!
