I gave an answer, and you replied being a c**t !! "Scotlands Lurcher Man" !! LMFAO !! I know for a FACT that there are good Jock Lurcher lads and lasses holding their heads in their hands and saying "

It's "bitch" ! And don't you realise what an arsehole you are making of yourself ?   Cheers.

Sorry boys for that.

Hey !! It's all a wind up, it's only the internet !! To answer the origional question, I'd say again...Give the dog the best kenneling, best food, best grooming/conditioning and pleanty exercise, then when the season starts, pleanty work, and it should all come together ! There is NO magic formula for training working dogs !!

Cheers.

3 mile 3 times a week, 5 mile once a week, various speeds next to the bike. Bushing on the days in between. Gets in nice hard condition and all ready for the season.

if you did as you say thyen how long would you say it would take to get a lurcher fit for season pal?

i just do this all year round [bANNED TEXT], they are capable of alot more but i would say 8 weeks of this is more than enough to see good results. It gets the wind in em i think, and improves the staying time
