To answer the origional question, I'd say again...Give the dog the best kenneling, best food, best grooming/conditioning and pleanty exercise, then when the season starts, pleanty work, and it should all come together ! Gets in nice hard condition and all ready for the season. if you did as you say thyen how long would you say it would take to get a lurcher fit for season pal? i just do this all year round [bANNED TEXT], they are capable of alot more but i would say 8 weeks of this is more than enough to see good results. fatlad 250 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 i feed the best food i can get, give them a good warm kennel, my season starts in september so i start to get them fit in july they get 8 mile by the bike 4 days a week and 3 days free running. but it depends on the dog as to how much it takes to get them fit Quote Link to post
